Introduction to Mendeley

In the introductory course we will help you get started using the reference management software Mendeley.

Course contents:

- Save references to Mendeley from article databases, library catalogues and web pages

- Attach PDF files

- Organise your references

- Insert citations and create reference lists in your document

- Share references and collaborate

Please note that the course will focus on the newest version of Mendeley (Mendeley Reference Manager). The older version (Mendeley Desktop) works differently in some ways.

This course is free of charge and available for students and employees at Uppsala University.

If requested, the course will be given in English.

Preparations

Before the course we would like you to: 

- Create a Mendeley account

- Install Mendeley Reference Manager

- Install Mendeley Web Importer (an extension to your browser)

- Install Mendeley Cite (an add-in to Word)
