Special occasion: Two New Honorary Doctors comes to the department 26 January 2023
Two of the New Honorary Doctors at the Faculty of Science and Technology; Professor David Harper and Professor Regine Hock, will then come to the department and everyone is invited.
Date and time: 10:00-12:00 Thursday 26 January 2023
Venue: Hambergsalen, Geocentrum, Villavägen 16, Uppsala.
We start with coffee and mingle followed by two short lectures, 30 minutes each.
Professor David Harper´s lecture: “The three biggest mass extinctions: What have we learnt?”
Professor Regine Hock´s lecture: “Every degree of temperature increase matters for future global glacier change”
