The Centre of Natural Hazards and Disaster Science, CNDS, is a national platform for research on the nexus between socio-technical vulnerability and extreme events. Read what the CNDS researchers have tp say about the corona virus situation.

In drawing upon interdisciplinary research from engineering and the natural and social sciences, CNDS examines the empirical puzzles in DRR and provides guidance in unraveling the nexus between physical, human, and technological systems in order to generate deeper knowledge about the interplay between these interconnected systems in efforts to support better policies and wiser decisions. Thus, CNDS researchers have been requested to provide their professional knowledge and insight on the current COVID-19 pandemic. Here are some of their contributions.
